A teacher but always a student of the guitar. 25 years of experience onstage and teaching privately periodically. A guitarist, vocalist, and sound technician. Well versed and proficient in many styles and familiar with acoustic and electric guitar,
effects and amplifiers. Currently Sid is the lead guitarist for the International House of Blues Foundation Blues Schoolhouse program teaching the younger generation about the history of American music and how blues played such an integral part in that.
Playing in one of the top bands in Louisiana, Harvey Jesus and Fire since 1996, Sid has traveled multiple times to Las Vegas, where the band was showcased. Also, playing in Shreveport, home of one the most recorded guitarist of all times, James Burton. James Burton has a resume that can fill volumes but probably his most famous position was lead guitar for Elvis Presley for 10 years. James came to see our band several times and gave me a thumbs up on my playing. Coming from him that really means something to me.
